Rubina - Home Away from Home

I had the privilege of teaching Rubina music and choir from the time she was a wee little dumpling in Grade 5 all the way through Grade 12. Seeing her on stage now, all grown up and sharing her incredible voice, was absolute magic. Her concert Home Away from Home, performed alongside the amazing singer/bass player, Dariush Azar, was a breathtaking blend of music from her Persian roots seamlessly fused with soul/pop.

Congratulations, Rubina! Seeing you shine up on that stage and watching the artist you’ve become brings me so much joy. Keep sharing your gift with the world.
